March 16, 2022
Dear Community Member,
Santa Clara County Office of County Executive cordially invite you to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Vietnamese American Service Center (VASC).
The Vietnamese American Service Center has been in the work since 2013. VASC is a “one-stop-shop” for numerous county services that have been surveyed by community members as being critical and relevant to the community's wellbeing. The County of Santa Clara Vietnamese American Service Center is located at 2410 Senter Road, in San Jose. The service center delivers integrated, accessible, and culturally responsive social and health services to support the local community, specifically the Vietnamese American community. Its fundamental goal is connecting the community to the County services they need, in a seamless and collaborative model which brings key County agencies together, to work in collaboration and address the overall needs of the community.
VASC has been opened with limited services since December 13, 2021, providing Ambulatory Care Services, Behavioral Health Services, Pharmacy, Social Services, Senior Meals and Nutrition, and various Community Health and Wellness programs by the County Executive Office.
We hope you can join the Board of Supervisors, the Office of the County Executive, County department leaders and community members for this celebration with a tour of the VASC, food, music, and more!
