VASC offers assistance with benefits, service navigation, and translation.
Benefits Assistance Center
Benefits application assistance from the Social Services Agency (SSA) is provided at the VASC Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. VASC's client services technician can provide assistance for benefits such as CalFresh, MediCal, and general assistance.
Health Coverage Enrollment
Health coverage enrollment services at VASC are provided by Community Health Initiative (CHI) every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Come receive help with:
- Applying for Health Coverage
- Annual Renewals
- Billing Assistance
- Accessing Services
- Understanding and using your insurance coverage
Service Navigation and Translation
VASC offers assistance to help clients navigate county services, including Behavioral Health, Social Services, and other general government services. In addition, VASC also offers assistance with translating and interpreting documents in Vietnamese and Spanish. Please check in at the front desk in the first-floor lobby to ask for assistance.
